What's the Fugo Web Player?
Fugo's Web Player is simply a URL that you can add to any web browser or integration that accepts URLs as digital signage content (see our AirServer integration here for an example of this). Here's how to use it.
Which browsers and devices support the Web Player?
Chrome (tested version 103.5060.53 on Windows 10)
Microsoft Edge (tested on version 96.0.1054.41 on Windows 10)
Firefox (tested on version 96.0 on Windows 10)
Safari (High Sierra 10.13.3)
Safari (High Sierra 13.1.3)
Airtame (firmware 4.5.2)
How to use the Web Player
On your device, open your web browser (we recommend using Google Chrome)
Enter the following URL into the address bar - https://player.fugo.ai
Your browser will load the Fugo Web Player and show a pairing code
This is the code you'll use to pair it to your Fugo account. You can find pairing instructions here.
You can easily add this URL to integrations that accept URLs as digital signage content as well. If you need support with this, contact our support team at support@fugo.ai.
Please note that if you intend to set up the Fugo web player as your digital signage solution (which we do not recommend), you are least likely to experience issues using Google's Chrome browser.
Internet browsers that are built into smart TVs will almost certainly prove not to be reliable. In such cases where the internet browser is not suitable to run the Fugo player, please instead buy a media player that can run the Fugo player app and connect this to the TV.
