What's the Amazon Signage Stick?

The Amazon Signage Stick is Amazon's purpose-built digital signage player designed from the ground up for commercial display use, unlike the Fire TV devices many Fugo users have relied on in the past.

It offers more reliable performance for always-on signage, better remote device management through the Amazon Signage console, and a streamlined setup experience purpose-built for this use case.

💡 Running Fugo on a Fire TV device?

If you're currently running Fugo on Amazon Fire TV devices, we recommend making the switch. And to help you do it, we're offering 20% off a full year of your Fugo subscription when you switch to the Amazon Signage Stick.

This offer is available through the end of 2026. Reach out to sales@fugo.ai to learn more or redeem your discount.

1. On your computer, go to console.signage.amazon.com, select Login with Amazon, and click Allow.

2. Click + Add Device.

💡 First time here? If this is your first time accessing the Amazon Signage console, you'll be taken directly to a "Let's set up your new device!" screen - skip straight to step 3.

3. Enter the 6-digit code from your Signage Stick screen. Under Step 2: Select your preferred Content Management System, choose Fugo.

4. Your device will now appear under your Devices list and will automatically download and install the Fugo app.

Install the Fugo app

Once registered, the Fugo app is pushed to your device automatically. While it downloads, you'll see an "Application download in process" message on screen. Wait for the installation to complete.

When the Fugo player launches, two prompts will appear:

  • Prompt 1 - Start at boot?: Click OK. This ensures Fugo launches automatically every time the device starts up, which is the recommended setting for digital signage.

  • Prompt 2 - This app requires additional permission: Click OK. This opens the Allow display over other apps settings screen. Scroll down to find Fugo Player in the list and toggle the switch to Allowed. This permission is required for uninterrupted playback.

Once both prompts are handled, the Fugo player will display a pairing PIN on screen:
