Crestron AirMedia receivers drive the main screen in many meeting rooms. They have a built-in digital signage setting that can load any web address. By pointing that setting at the Fugo player, the room screen shows your Fugo content whenever nobody is presenting, instead of the AirMedia home page.
When someone starts sharing from a laptop or phone, AirMedia takes over the display. When they stop, Fugo comes back automatically. No extra player, no extra HDMI input and no extra network cable.
💡 Which link to use: Use the plain https://player.fugo.ai address, not a Fugo virtual screen link. Each receiver loads its own player and shows its own pairing PIN on the room display, and you pair that PIN in Fugo.
Before you begin
You'll need:
An active Fugo account or trial account (sign up here) with a free screen license for each room
Content already set up in Fugo, such as a playlist, media file, dashboard or app
A Crestron AirMedia Series 3 receiver (for example AM-3100 or AM-3200), powered on and connected to your network
The receiver's IP address or host name, and its administrator sign-in
The room display connected to the receiver's HDMI output
💡 Network access: The receiver needs outbound internet access to player.fugo.ai and Fugo's content services. If your network uses a firewall allowlist, add Fugo's domains before you start.
Configure AirMedia to display the Fugo player
These steps happen on the AirMedia receiver's own web interface, not in Fugo. Screenshots in this section are from Crestron's AirMedia Series 3 product manual, used with permission. See the manual for the full settings reference.
1. On a computer on the same network, open a browser and go to the receiver's IP address or host name. This is usually shown on the room display.
2. Click Settings and sign in with the receiver's administrator account. If the receiver has never been configured, you will be asked to create one.

3. Expand Application Mode and set Application Mode to AirMedia Experience.

4. Set the signage options:
Signage Provider: General Web
Signage Mode: Signage as a Background
Signage URL: https://player.fugo.ai

5. Go to System Setup → Power Settings and set Power Mode to Business Hours + Occupancy Based for Signage. Crestron requires this mode whenever a signage provider is enabled. If you want the screen on all day, set business hours to 00:00–23:59.
6. Click Save Changes. When asked to reboot, click Yes.
💡 Signage Mode matters. Choose Signage as a Background so Fugo plays whenever nobody is presenting. With Signage in Standby, Fugo only appears when the room is unoccupied, so occupied rooms show the normal AirMedia welcome screen instead.
💡 Signage only screens: If a display never needs screen sharing, set Application Mode to Signage Only and choose General Web with the same Fugo URL. This turns off AirMedia presenting and runs the receiver purely as a Fugo player.

Pair your AirMedia screen to Fugo
After the reboot, the Fugo player loads on the room display and shows a 4-character pairing PIN.
1. On your computer, open Fugo CMS at https://www.fugo.ai/app and log in.
2. Go to the Screens page, click Add screen, and choose Physical screen.
3. Enter the PIN shown on the room display and complete the pairing flow.
4. Give the screen a name that makes it easy to find later, such as the room name. Add any labels or screen properties you use.
5. Assign a playlist or other content to the screen from your Playlists page. You can create a new playlist by clicking Create Playlist:
Or open an existing playlist, click Edit, and add your new screen to it:

💡 Setting up several rooms? Repeat the receiver settings on each AirMedia device, or push them centrally with Crestron XiO Cloud. Every receiver shows its own PIN, so pair each one separately in Fugo. Each paired room uses one Fugo screen license.
Check it works
In Fugo: the screen appears on the Screens page and shows as online.
In the room: share your laptop to the display. The presentation should take over the full screen, and Fugo should return on its own when you stop sharing.

Always test the sharing step. Signage that does not get out of the way for a presentation is the most common complaint in meeting rooms.
Content tips
Crestron recommends keeping videos and streams at 1920x1080 or lower, and images at 3840x2160 or lower.
In Signage as a Background mode, AirMedia can show its connection instructions over the signage. Keep important content away from the bottom edge of your layout.
Troubleshooting
The screen still shows the AirMedia welcome screen. Signage Mode is set to Signage in Standby. Change it to Signage as a Background.
The screen goes dark or signage stops. Check Power Mode is set to Business Hours + Occupancy Based for Signage, and that business hours cover the times you need.
The screen is blank or white after the reboot. Check the Signage URL is exactly https://player.fugo.ai and that the receiver can reach the internet.
The PIN is not accepted. Read the PIN from the display again. If the receiver has rebooted or slept, it may be showing a new one.
Presentations don't take over the screen. Application Mode is not set to AirMedia Experience.
Some content doesn't play well. The receiver uses a built-in browser with limited power. Test video files and heavy dashboards on one room before rolling out.
