Before you begin
Fugo Player runs on a wide range of Windows devices, including mini PCs, tablets, OPS modules, and standard desktop PCs.
This guide covers installing Fugo Player on a single Windows device using our standard installer. Once installed, you'll pair the device with your Fugo workspace and publish content to it.
When installed directly, Fugo Player will:
Launch automatically when Windows starts.
Open in full-screen mode.
Keep itself up to date automatically.
Capture playback screenshots for remote monitoring.

Note: Fugo Player version 1.16 is no longer supported. If you're having issues with the player, please uninstall version 1.16 and install the newest version found here.
Deploy with Microsoft Intune (optional)
If you're deploying Fugo across a fleet of managed Windows devices, you don't need to install the player manually on each one.
Instead, you can deploy Fugo Player through Microsoft Intune, allowing your IT team to:
Install Fugo Player silently across managed devices.
Assign deployments to device groups.
Manage application versions centrally.
Control when updates are rolled out.
Install the Fugo Player app
Download the latest Windows installer:
The installer will:
Install Fugo Player.
Install and register the Fugo Screensaver.
Configure Fugo Screensaver as the active Windows screensaver.
No manual registry changes are required.
Installation steps:
Download fugo.exe.
Open the downloaded installer.
Follow the installation wizard.
Choose whether you'd like to install Fugo for the current user or for all users on the device.
Complete the installation.
Once installation finishes, Fugo Player will launch automatically and you’ll see a 4-digit pairing code on screen. We'll cover what to do with this PIN in this section.
Enable automatic login (optional)
If Windows displays a login screen after restarting, you'll need to enable automatic login so Fugo can start without user interaction.
This usually involves:
Refer to Microsoft's documentation or your organization's IT policies if these settings are managed centrally.
Configure power settings (optional)
The installer automatically configures Windows to prevent the device from sleeping during playback.
If you'd like to review or customize these settings:
Windows 11
Start → Settings → System → Power & battery
Windows 10
Start → Settings → System → Power & sleep
We recommend:
Sleep: Never
Turn off display: Never (unless your display has its own scheduling)

Pair your screen to Fugo CMS
Once the Fugo app is installed and running on the screen, you'll see a four digit pairing PIN:
You'll use this pairing PIN to connect your screen to Fugo CMS so that you can manage your content and your screen.
To do that:
1. Log in to your account or start a free trial at fugo.ai/app.
2. Navigate to the Screens page and click Add screen.
3. Select the type of screen this is. You can either select Physical screen here or Test screen.
4. Enter the pairing pin in the space provided.
5. Give your screen a name and click Continue.
6. Add an address (if you want to be able to view your screens in Fugo's map view) and set the orientation if it's different from the standard landscape setting.
7. Assign any labels or custom screen properties to your screen. Click Save details when you're done.
Your screen is now paired to Fugo and will be listed on your Screens page.
Manage content and screens
From here, you can start assigning and managing content for your screen the same way you would for any other Fugo screen. A few places to go next:
Playlists Overview - build a playlist and schedule what plays and when.
Design Studio Overview - design custom layouts, templates, and touch-enabled content for your screen.
Screens Overview - rename, group, or configure settings for this and other screens.

Uninstall the Fugo Player app
To remove Fugo Player:
Open Settings → Apps.
Locate Fugo Player.
Select Uninstall.
This will remove both the Fugo player app and the Fugo screensaver.
